The village comisario's niece kindly volunteered to play the part of Azucena with her friends and we got the cymbals player from the Rancherita Band of Tecalpulco to play Arturo, the bullrider. after having ridden a bull coming across these two girls one of whom sneaked out of the house without permission. Scene 24 is the first encounter between the protagonist and the antagonist in this drama.
